Well different varieties of potatoes cook very differently. Potatoes, like tomatoes are part of the nightshade family and are full of nutrients, such as potassium and vitamin C. We have put together a list of some of the different varieties of potatoes and what cooking methods they are most suitable for.

rounder.

A waxy, finger shaped potato with yellow skin and light yellow flesh. They have a buttery, nutty taste.

They have a red-skin with cream coloured flesh.

๐ป๐๐๐ - Best to store your potatoes in a bag [that can breath] in a cool dark place, they will turn green if exposed to light. Chats are best stored in the fridge.
*If there is a long time between prepping and cooking place the potatoes in a bowl of water with a little lemon or vinegar this will prevent them from turning brown.
*Also donโt consume sprouted or green potatoes as they have certain toxins.
